Thank You

Dear Presidents and Immediate Past Presidents,

As the Immediate Past Area K2 Governor, I would like to record me deepest appreciation to all of you and your members for giving me the support, co-operation, encouragement, confidence and strength to be your Area Governor for 2006/2007. It was a very fulfilling and satisfying year working with all of you.

As at June 29th Area K2 has achieved Select Distinguished Area with Sandakan Pidato Toastmasters Club achieving 10/10 Goals, Sandakan Toastmasters Club 9/10 Goals and Tawau Toastmasters Club 6/10 Goals (one more goals pending TI confirmation).

I am also glad that Sandakan Pidato Toastmasters Club has finally back into good shape with 21 members from previous base membership of 9. That will also conclude my duty as the Club Coach for the club.

Datuk Hassan from Sandakan Pidato and Sandakan Toastmasters Club has been awarded the Toastmaster of the Year for Division K. Datin Nuri from Sandakan Pidato Toastmassters Club was chosen as the Area K2 Toastmaster of the Year and David Chong from Tawau Toastmasters club was also recognised for his commitment to the Club. Awards were presented at the Division K Award Night on 29/6/2007. In fact Area K2 topped all the other areas in receiving awards from Division K Governor Fatimah Yassin.

Congratulations to all for the excellence work done for the 2006/2007 term.

It is my sincere hope that all the immediate past presidents will continue to support your respective clubs in helping the incoming presidents to achieve even greater heights. It is also my wish that you will give your full support and co-operation to the new Area k2 Governor Elizabeth Goh.

I would also like to thank Immediate Past Division K Governor Fatimah Yassin and her council members and Immediate Past District 51 Governor Siva for their support and understanding. It's simply amazing!

Should there be anything or anyway that my experience could help the Club, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you, once again and have a good year ahead.

Regards,

Chye Ewe
